Took the Duffy out for a 60th birthday 5/23. Our Duffy was being passed by every other Duffy and paddle boarder. We couldn’t even make it to the first bridge within 1 hour. On our way back we were by tantalum our boat would only go reverse and instruction by Duffy team to make it back if it were able to driving. Horrible, Horrible service from Cole!!!! Shame on you for yelling and being so disrespectful to my 77 year old mother. You’re a disgusting human being. Disgusting customer service. I was explaining to Cole that Nigel from the restaurant said he was going to do a pink boat for my twins 10th birthday. if you’re reading this stay far far away from this place go check out London Boat Rentals instead anchors away has terrible ownership terrible customer service they also have multiple hidden fees. Please read contract word for word if you’re still thinking of going. but highly suggest taking your business elsewhere this place it horrible and unprofessional and don’t rely on there teenage employees to give you accurate information.

Absolutely terrible experience with Anchors Away Boat Rental. We were given no guidance about navigating during high tide or low tide, even though this is clearly something renters should be warned. During our rental, the tarp caught on a metal structure near the bridge and ripped. It was not a collision with the bridge itself, yet we were immediately hit with a shocking $1,700 charge. You guys really need to fix the motors on your boats - they can’t handle a continuous two hour run. It was working fine for the first hour, then basically died out almost completely. Spent about an hour basically floating from the other side of the marina back to the dock with almost zero power. Your baseline motor power may be the “speed limit” at start time but it goes down heavily after about an hour of continuous run.
