I really cannot say enough good things about Anchorage Gymnastics Preschool. My daughter absolutely loved her time there. She felt safe and loved, was always talking about her teachers and her friends, and had such a positive experience that now she wants to be a gymnast! She has moved on to kindergarten, but she still takes the van from her new school to Anchorage Gymnastics so she can continue her gymnastics lessons. Run down, unclean and frustrating gym. We will never be back after our experience of miserable teens that act annoyed to be there, yelling at our young children and simply being a babysitter instead of teaching. Such a shame that no adults are present to run the gym smoothly and leave it to immature teens to handle these responsibilities.
Review for Rec Gymnastics only - This gym is MILES ahead of another reputable Anchorage gym, in my opinion. Staff at the front desk has been knowledgeable and friendly, and there is a useful parent portal. Most importanly, the coaches I briefly observed seem to be engaging the young gymnasts, correcting them, encouraging them and getting visibly excited when a student succeeds at something they struggled to get.
