Not fancy, but lots of amenities, large rooms with kitchenets, very clean, affordable and nice staff. Walk the downtown and see the sights. Perfect for a day or two crash after a long travel to see Anchorage before going to Denali or a fishing vacation.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my 63 years of life. It was hot in the room so I open the window and in blew a legion of dead flies and dust into the room, and certainly mold, and the street noise was unbearable. The hotel has a door that slammed all night long. I got no sleep. When I called the front desk they said I had to go to the front desk in the morning. The only good thing is location (close to train station) The staff of front desk is very errogant and rude!!! The front desk is ot available all day. When we would like to check out, we can't find the guy in charge. The heater doesn't work very well. Freezing cold at night.
