Lots of seals and sea lions to watch from the balcony
I've never been so insulted in my life. I'm a nurse. I was talking to an elderly gentleman at the bar. The staff weirdly suggested I should leave for doing so. Like I was going to take advantage of him. I was trying to be considerate of a man who had shown me kindness and who clearly suffered from loneliness. I don't even have words. The staff should likely be educated on human decency.
Beware that these rooms are below a VERY LOUD construction zone currently. We nicknamed it the bowling ball wrecking motel because it sounded like they were dropping bowling balls on the floor at 6am.
Didn't need any service. Everything was just perfect. The construction was no bother. Room was very clean and everything worked perfectly. Water view with wildlife (no night-time barking this time) fun and easy to view. Can't wait to stay again.
