Chose this as a base to visit the Redwoods - perfect location although Crescent City is not particularly attractive. Room was v spacious, clean and well equipped. Slightly unusual check in experience - all done via a video link!
Breakfast is just coffee, muffins, fruit, and grain bar. Rooms are decent. Check in using kiosk was different but good experience. We paid for ocean view... small window. Decent plane just over priced at $160. Better at $100
This is a clean, but no frills hotel. Breakfast is a grab-n-go with nothing unexpected. Check in and out was a bit strange, being done across a Zoom type machine where the person on the other end could obtain electronic signatures and issue room keys via a machine. It was okay, but strange. The motel was quiet and clean and we had a pleasant night's sleep.
We were very impressed. We arrived very late, but found the check-in very easy. We forgot our bag with our phone and computer near the car and went to bed. Soon we received a call from the front desk and were informed about the find and brought to our room. Thank you very much. Even this mistake did not spoil our stay in this hotel.
