In all honesty I've lived here since 2005 and Menifee since 1992 and prior to that grew up in Downey (an LA suburb). Have stayed at Ritz Carlton Laguna and generally exposed to very nice dining experiences on the coast since teen years. The service we received tonight and the level of professionalism was comparable to any 5 star establishment anywhere in California from Santa Barbara to San diego. True classy professionals and the food was decadent!! WOW. impressed.
Its my new favorite place! Great people! Wonderful bartenders! And the food is amazing!

Glad you took the "Anchor" name back . It always had a good reputation and that is why it has been here in town for so long . It is like a boat ....change the name and you will get bad luck.....sure enough ....The Palms went down hill and so did the other one before that too. The service and food and prices are good . My family has been coming here for years with holidays and receptions and just for the fun of it . Keep up the good work ......the word is getting out how good you are again .

If you're looking for a nice dinner in a 'new' restaurant, give The Anchor in Hemet another try. No longer the California Palms, it's back to it's former name. I went there last weekend for a banquet and had the best meal I've had in ages! The prime rib (available only on Fridays and Saturdays) was the best I have EVER had!! Husband and wife owners Benedict and Nicole were gracious and friendly. I have a new Favorite Place!
