Was expecting more, as how well known the place is for their wings. I did not order food because what I saw come out of the kitchen the wings were not as quality as the hype. Staff were friendly. Business was slow.
We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Anchor Bar while celebrating a surprise 60th birthday party for a friend. From start to finish, everything was spot on. A huge shoutout to Courtney Lord, one of their newer team members, who truly made the entire event seamless and special. I really wish I could've taken more pictures. I had Anchor Bar's wings before as takeout and yes, they are fantastic. I decided to dine in this time. It was a very pleasant experience. I tried the Anchor Bar Dip, along with their Anchor Bar IPA. Great combo, along with watching Game 1 of the Sabres playoff run against the Bruins. My server, Kristen, was truly exceptional. For great wings, some solid brews, and an extremely welcoming atmosphere, come to Anchor Bar!
