Initial wait of 3+ hours. No plan or procedure provided to identify problem. Follow-up visit scheduled with assistant (but nothing to follow-up on). Eighteen minuets on hold to cancel follow-up appointment.
Dr. Wang has been an exceptional physician. She sits with us for as long as necessary to go over progress, changes, issues and concerns. She always reviews the medications with us and will recommend adjustments if she feels it will help. In addition, she is very thorough on reviewing test results, explains the information clearly and asks for feedback to ensure we understand; she has also been excellent on recommending tests to help track the neurological issue.
My mother in law saw Dr. Wang in April 2017. The wait to see her for a follow up appt. was 1 1/2 hrs. This is not acceptable for an 89 year old woman who had a stroke. No apologies from the staff or Physician was given for the wait time.
I would never recommend Dr. Wang, based upon my own and others experiences with her. She misdiagnosed my symptoms and until several years later. When giving what was a difficult diagnosis to hear, she made matters worse by immediately giving worst case scenarios. She slapped at my hands and was quite rude. I found another specialist who confirmed my diagnosis but was kind and compassionate and has provided excellent care. I believe I would not be doing as well had I stayed with Dr Wang.
The front desk is is unorganized and it took over a month just for the initial appointment. After waiting so long, Dr. Wang was not very helpful. She was actually very rude to my grandmother who's 1) first language is not English and 2) has trouble hearing. Dr. Wang started getting frustrated and raising her voice. I'm sure she's a qualified doctor but I think the way she treated my grandmother was unacceptable and unprofessional.
Dr. Wang took her time explaining what she believed was happening to me. I felt very comfortable with her, she was very personable.
Doesn't really listen to symptoms and tries to fit them into a diagnosis it's not. Frustrating because she left me undiagnosed until I found a doctor who was willing to listen to my symptoms, properly diagnose me, and get me on a proper treatment plan. The front desk is extremely unorganized and rude constantly making mistakes scheduling appointments, etc. Because of their mistakes it took over three months just for the first appointment to have her not even listen to me.
I will always be very thankful to Dr. Wang, she undertstood how afraid I was about having surgery, she explained everything to me but specially she addressed my concerns & assured me that I was going to be fine and indeed I am very happy that I listened to her.
She's not only well qualified, she also gives you as much time as necessary. My wife has been a patient of hers for, I guess, about 5 or more years. I always accompany my wife so my observations are first-hand. She's also very approachable and down to earth. I and my wife recommend her highly.
