I went in for a prepaid oil service #3 but came out with a $700 bill. I have a hybrid and had mentioned the parking brake was not releasing/sticking. The service person said it's one of the checks for service #3. May need to be cleaned and lubed. Then they found the rotors were rusting and should be machined. I said it only has 30000 km. Are they defective I asked? He stated car sits too long. I said my wife drives to Burlington to work everyday. Then he said it's a hybrid and brakes aren't used as much.
