I’ve been a diabetic for 35 years and am considered very brittle. I’ve been to the Mayo and Joslin clinics and gotten a lot of great insight and had amazing endocrinologists over the years who worked with me. Dr Manessis is the most unkind doctor i’ve ever visited and had no interest in my prior experiences, even though my explanation of them is less than 30 seconds. Angry, it seems. Terrible appointment system
Dr. Manessis is a very competent physician, however the administration of the office is very poor. My daughter had thyroid cancer and following the biopsy they did not inform her for two months. To make matters worse they blamed her for not being able to use the app (which is totally dysfunctional). Also, while this provider is in network for our insurance (which we verified in advance) they sent the biopsy to a lab that is out of network, creating a trail of billing problems.
Visits to Dr. Manessis’ office are always focused on the actual reason you are there—your health. When you come in with concerns about your condition, you receive direct, clear answers and appropriate care. From the moment you arrive, you know you are in the right place. The staff are real people who genuinely care, not automated systems or robots.
