I'm going to report this business to the American medical association because it relies on robots to answer the phone, impeding any meaningful, necessary interaction with a provider. This is disgusting.
I've been a patient of this practice for several years, and unfortunately the administrative side of the office has progressively gotten worse. Appointments have been canceled without notification, promised follow-up calls never occurred, and office visits frequently began 30 minutes or more after my scheduled appointment time. I made appointment 3 months ago and when I get there they tell me my appointments been canceled. Never did I receive a phone call or a text or email advising me that it was cancelled. The people behind the desk say he’s not taking afternoon appointments and we’re more concerned about how their co-workers hair looked. Maybe if they weren’t concerned about that and picked up phone to call new patients to reschedule an appointment I would have had a better experience. I’ve been a diabetic for 35 years and am considered very brittle. I’ve been to the Mayo and Joslin clinics and gotten a lot of great insight and had amazing endocrinologists over the years who worked with me. Dr Manessis is the most unkind doctor i’ve ever visited and had no interest in my prior experiences, even though my explanation of them is less than 30 seconds. Angry, it seems.
