Needed an endocrinologist to help with some bloodwork concerns. The physician instead spent 10 minutes telling me he was upset because he bought his kids a movie with a bear on the box only to find out it was the movie "TED" and was not for children. Yes, finally an endocrinologist that listens to me and just doesn't give orders. I realize that I have type 1 diabetes and this will never change but in the past I was a patient of Dr. Vera in Daytona Beach. I would have to schedule a WHOLE DAY off of life for an appointment with his office. I would have to mentally prepare for this appointment.
