All I can say is that when God led me to this program, I didn’t know what to expect. Now I can say that He definitely led me to the right place to get the help I needed for so long! I was in the Intensive Outpatient Program for 60 days. DON'T GO HERE! This place equals death. Everybody smokes and vapes. Even staff. Somebody should tell them smoking is NOT a way to get sober. In fact , it'll lead you right back to your addiction easily refunded. The staff are nice enough but yeah, rehabs are doing good business as long as you stay sick. Go to ER, ask for meds, and go home. NOT HERE!
The Lighthouse is a completely magical place where dreams are fulfilled and hope is brought to completion. If I were shopping around I would want to honestly understand a few things first. Do they allow you to live a life independently structured where freedom and choice is a vital part of the program. Yes, they do. I really love the Lighthouse. The staff are so caring; most are in recovery themselves, and you can tell how much they want you to succeed. The program is pretty strongly focused on 12-Step recovery, but the groups also focus a lot on cognitive behavioral techniques. And they have an active alumni program that helps keep folks connected after they leave.
