The Lighthouse is a completely magical place where dreams are fulfilled and hope is brought to completion. If I were shopping around I would want to honestly understand a few things first. I really love the Lighthouse. The staff are so caring; most are in recovery themselves, and you can tell how much they want you to succeed. The program is pretty strongly focused on 12-Step recovery, but the groups also focus a lot on cognitive behavioral techniques. And they have an active alumni program that helps keep folks connected after they leave. The lighthouse saved my life and I am forever grateful for this program. Me and my fiance came here together but did the program separately and I am so happy we came here. I definitely recommend this program. And the food is amazing.
Thank god for the Lighthouse!! This place is amazing, I went there and they took me to Alcoholics Anonymous, which gave me a solution to allow me to become an active and productive member of my family and society. I did everything that was suggested like going to sober living getting a sponsor and working steps. They have an amazing Alumni program with Heidi as the coordinator. This place is absolute worst rehab to go to I got there and they did the intake which was fine and then they put me in a house full of guys and next to nobody that was detoxing from what I was detoxing from everybody was talking from alcohol I was the only one they told me they would give me meds but 4 hours later no meds so I decided I wanted to leave because first of all I was going to drive my own car down here and they told me not to that they would get me a ride down here I live 2 hours away so they got me the ride down... read more
