I have been treated by Dr. Hines for several years now and have found him and his staff to be extremely considerate. His is a casual, no pressure, kind, and helpful practice. He spotted my melanoma early so that a little surgery cleared it up. He has also done Mohs surgery on my leg and it was painless and quick. I can't say enough good about Andy and his staff. I highly recommend Anacortes Dermatology.

Andy and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Over the years I have had several dermatologists, but the knowledge and expertise provided by Anacortes Dermatology is by far superior to any I have reviuosly experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Hines! I’ve been a patient for a few years now getting IPL treatments. What I like about Anacortes Dermatology is that I’m not up-sold or pressured into a series of costly and time consuming treatments which other dermatology offices have tried to sell me on. I had one treatment during COVID and felt perfectly safe with all the precautions Dr. Hines and his assistant employed from from fully masked and shielded to ensuring the office is disinfected between patients. I happily recommend him!
Dr. Hines and the nurses were all extremely professional and great to work with. I felt totally comfortable and like I was receiving the best possible treatment. Dr. Hines was great at explaining things in a way that I completely understood. They made sure everything was sanitized and clean. I will always recommend them for dermatology treatment to my friends and family.

Dr Hines treats his patients with kindness and respect. No pat on the head and rushing you into any decisions. He listens and knows what to do. I found his sense of humor really comforting and his “bed side manner” gets an A+. Highly recommend.
I so appreciate dealing directly with a provider. Dr. Andy responded promptly to my scheduling request and I was seen within 48 hours. Both Nancy and Dr. Andy put me immediately at ease, answered all my questions clearly and directly, and helped me make a decision about my level of care. This was the best, most humane experience I've had at a dermatology clinic, ever. Thank you, Dr. Andy Hines!
The level of personal care and connection provided by Dr. Hines is increasingly non existent in the current healthcare climate. My husband and I are continually amazed at how comfortable we are at Anacortes Dermatology, and how comprehensive Dr. Hine’s approach is. Five stars!
