I stayed here for One night and was highly disappointed. The whole space smelled of weed, the beds were very uncomfortable, and they do not return items left behind- even when willing to return to pick it up. I left at 5 am the morning of my check out, after the most uncomfortable night of sleep, and happened to forget my toiletry bag. very clean place to have one night very close to ferry.
It is obvious that the Anaco Bay Inn in Anacortes, Washington was once a high quality iconic hotel, and was lovingly tended to by its owners. Ten years ago the hotel had been earning many awards and accolades from various well known travel organizations and the new owners have selfishly preserved the displayed decals and plaques celebrating the previous successes while failing miserably at maintaining the high quality under their watch.
