Great experience... – I finally had a chance to try out Ana Mandara and was quite pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. The place has a great style of vietnamese/french cuisine.. Great date spot..

Never been so insulted at a restaurant! – My girlfriend and I went to Ana Mandara for dinner. When I went to restroom the waiter ask my girlfriend why she was with a guy like me"! The worst thing was that my GF didn't tell me until we were gone and I tipped this jerk 20%! He is lucky that I did not get him fired. I did talk to the manger and he basically said tough, nice management. I will NEVER Recommend this place to any of my friends or Corporate clients, and for that matter I will go out of my way to suggest against it! ... read more

well-polished – The dark, wood interior was almost sensual. If you're on a date, though, don't get seated in a booth unless you're WELL over six feet tall (they're very large). Otherwise, it was quite nice. Food featured complex, rich flavors and very tender meat. The server, though quite terse and hard to find at times, made good recommendations.

A bit overrated, but good ambience – The ambience here is better than the food. If you want good Vietnamese food, go to a hole in the wall, this place will make you pay a ton. But, the atmosphere here is very cool and hip so go if you want drinks and want to hang out.

Amazing – The ambience and architecture is gorgeous, just as if you were swept away into a french-vietamese villa. I've always had drinks here after work- sipping on their glorious cocktails. Recently, I had the enjoyment of eating here with my boyfriend. The food was everything we expected. Ana Mandara: AVOID – During Dine About Town, I brought a date to the highly rated Ana Mandara. Our waiter made two appearances during the meal, perhaps unimpressed by our less than $50 wine order. I ordered the restaurant week prix-fixe, my date ordered off the menu. While eating the entrees (I've had better food at Chinese buffets), we heard the waiter mentioning specials he hadn't bothered to mention to us. Yummmm! – Whether it's a romantic night out or just a dinner with a few girlfriends, this place can take your breath away. I love their beef tenderloin (It's a MUST-HAVE!).. all their food are presented in a creative asian manner and their tastes is superb.. While eating there, you can't help but notice the environment : feels like a quiet evening in Vietnam..

Beautiful setting for pretty nice food – This is a great date place. It's simply gorgeous and the food is pretty as well. A few of the dishes are on the small side, but if you order a few and share, everyone should have enough to eat. Quite different than most places at the Wharf, which is a large part of Ana Mandara's charm.

Awesome food, great service – Service was top-notch, food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. A great wine list, yet not overwhelming. The ambiance was prefect - beautiful decor and live music. Prices/food portions were surprisingly well-balanced. Definite recommend!
