We just spent 4 nights here for our 10th wedding anniversary. Cannot fault it, the location is beautiful, the room was amazing and Leo was the most wonderful host. We stayed in the lake view room which had a beautiful view. Breakfasts were beautiful and the two dinners were had were also exceptional. The hot tub on the front deck overlooking the lake was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back.
We saw amazing reviews for Ana Mandara and decided to book last week. Fortunately a room was available and we stayed via a trip to Sydney. Leo, the Austrian/Australian founder and owner called to confirm everything including our requests to eat lunch nearby, charge the car, eat in that night etc. Leo mentioned guests commented the lodge was a place of not just extreme comfort and elegance but had a healing atmosphere on their soul. We just returned from this beautiful retreat and couldn't be happier with the experience. If you’re looking to get out of town and find some genuine peace and quiet, this is the spot. We stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. The environment is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, and it was very clean. The owner cooked for us personally, and we enjoyed excellent breakfast and dinner at the hotel. We would stay there again next time we visit port Macquarie .
My in-laws recently stayed at Ana Mandara in Port Macquarie and couldn’t fault it. From the moment they arrived, everything was exceptional. The food was outstanding, the service was welcoming and attentive, and every detail was thoughtfully done. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully presented, and extremely comfortable. Leo was a fantastic host who made them feel truly cared for throughout their stay. It was a genuinely memorable experience, and they wouldn’t hesitate to return.
