A Zurba has also treated me with compassion, empathy and professionalism. She listens to my concerns and answers my questions as they arise. She gives good advice and suggestions and I feel like she joins me in problem solving when issues are complicated. I’m always grateful to see her.
I've seen Amy Zurba a few times over the last 3 or 4 years. She is consistently thoughtful, kind and professional. I'd recommend her to anyone.
I saw AZ weekly for 5mo in 2018 @ Hadley Family Practice. First visit, she came off kind and compassionate. Note: HFP had been my PCP in Hadley since mid-90's. From broken bones to suicidal depression. Until I Ms. Zurba, all was fine. In '18 I'd been battleing undiagnosed chronic pain for 6yrs. Unfortunately, oxycodone was Rx'd by a PCP in NC 1yr prior until, eventually, I was referred to Mass General's Pain Program for the desperate & unbearable condition I was in. Ms. Zurba was in contact w/ and received recommendations by... read more
I just moved to Massachusetts and needed a new doctor. I made an appointment with Amy Zurba FNP-C. I have a lot of health problems that require several specialists. Amy was extremely patient and thorough. She didn't rush me even though I had a list of questions and concerns. She made transitioning to another state as easy and comfortable as it can be. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a general practitioner.
Grateful that Amy Zurba is available she is knowledgeable and compassionate.
Amy has been my primary care practitioner for the past seven years. For every ailment I've come across she's shown compassion and always had a listening ear. The latest health issue I've dealt with had similar traits with anxiety, but I knew it was something else, and Amy listened. She ordered multiple blood tests and an ekg monitor. It was proven that it was in fact not anxiety but an autoimmune disorder. Additionally, she followed up with me the next day to ensure I was doing okay. 110% would recommend her for those seekin... read more
Cold as ice when I was experiencing the worst pain of my life. Unsympathetic, unsupportive and condescending. PLEASE think twice about booking an appointment with her for you or someone you love to. Patient/Dr. relationship is crucial and in my experience she fell incredibly short. I also found her short on medical knowledge, willingness to refer and as mentioned, crucially, compassion.
After returning to show her test results I am never going back. I left because I had severe, chronic pain from degenerative disc disease. I asked the Dr for Tramadol for relief. She said she was "uncomfortable" with that without even asking WHY I needed it, so I left. A new and competent Dr asked the right question, ordered a MRI, and saw the EXTREME issues I had and gave me Tramodol. I went back to her with hard evidence as a test to see if she would respond, and because she had office staff call me over and over and over t... read more
