Accomodated after walking in first thing on a Thursday morning and sent to the back then the front. I had specific request on technique and size and was accomodated after insistance or asking a couple times. But she executed my style to perfection after direction. She said she was tired...and lost patience but hopefully my tip made up for it. I am a stylist that doesn't want to do her own hair. I love this place. They’re skilled, efficient, affordable, extremely reliable. They’re always so welcoming. I’ve been coming here for 4 years, mostly because it’s conveniently located but Amy’s is a gem. I try other places but I always end up back here.

I been coming to Amy since I was 16 now I'm 40 so you do the math, I love!!! How they just do my braids, I used to live down the block from the salon, Now I live in long Island and I still travel to come to get my braids done, And I always gets so many compliments every time she dose my hair, She's very fair with prices great customer service's, she take her time even if she not there Everyone dose a terrific job the best hair braiding salon in Brooklyn, I truly recommend

The worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. I asked her what her prices were and she said 150 if she braided mid back and 200 if she briaded to my waist. however, she braided to my mid back and still tried to charge me 200 and not to mention I was there from 11 to 7 because she was Using one hand to scroll through TikTok after each braid. I came here to the African hair braiding because I thought they work with African textures. I was wrong. Firstly, Amy was really nice but the lady who braided me ruined my whole week. I have coarse 4c hair. With a blow dry, or even good hands it is easily braidable. I know this because I usually do my own hair and people who have done it before say the texture is great for gripping. The lady who did my hair was awful.
