I passed out on 10/3. I was hospitalized at McLaren Oakland. Upon discharge, I was instructed to follow up with Amy Oniell. If you suspect you have POTS Dysautonomia, Amy is not the cardiologist for you. Please do yourself a favor and find another cardiologist. Dr. Oniel let me suffer for 10 months, telling me I was fine. My HR was extremely low, 30’s however my heart was in rhythm, so she said I was fine. I mentioned POTS / Dysautonomia MANY times to her, but I was dismissed every time. Hardly ever answer the phones and if they do you're just put on hold until you hang up or they say they'll call you back. If you're able to go somewhere else that's probably a good idea.

Doesn't feel like Dr O'Neil believes me when I explain what symptoms I'm experiencing. I've already got too much medical trauma to attempt a dr/patient relationship with a Dr that doubts my symptoms. I'm currently looking for another Dr, I suggest you do to.

Her response after a cardiac arrest that the patient should not have survived was to drop every ball thrown her way. 10 weeks after the arrest the patient had another heart attack and ended up at St Joes and had the procedures they needed within one day (on a weekend). Would not recommended McClaren for cardiology at all. Note: even the Emergency Response does not recommend McClaren.
