I’ve heard great things about Dr. Mellor, but unfortunately, my experience with her office and scheduling staff has been frustrating. When I first started having seizures nearly three years ago, I called to establish as a new patient and was told the next available appointment was nine months out. I get that specialists are often booked up, but that’s a long wait when you're dealing with something serious. I ended up seeing another neurologist—adequate but not ideal. Can’t get ahold of office- was reminded about appointment a few days before- but when we got there with my 88 year old father we were told office no longer took his insurance- staff said they tried calling but no record of calls- just an email saying he did have appointment- absolutely no respect for patient in this instance- very sad-
