Dr. Wilson has been treating my husband's foot and performed surgery. He is diabetic so this provides an extra challenge. We love her bedside manner, her ability to think outside the box and her ability to explain what's happening in a way that can be understood. My husband doesn't like dealing with doctors but he truly loves her care.
I had a smiple procedure to fix my tear duct and when I woke up in the recovery room I was in a lot in pain. Next day still in lots of pain and part of my face I could not feel. It's been over a year and I can't feel part of my face and some of my upper teeth. She told me she has never seen this happen, and she didn't do anything to cause this. In 2011 i was falsely diagnosed at UNC Memorial Hospital after a severe eye injury.I was told my eyeball had not sustained a cut and they left debree in the cut leading to a severe infection...Dr Fowler saw the cut immediately that other doctors failed to see.It was a long deep cut on my cornea.She immediately had my eye cleaned and special antibiotics created to treat the severe infection...I came very close to losing this eye and I give Dr Fowler full credit for having saved it.
