First off, there have been a fair share of providers retiring or leaving the area. This undoubtedly puts more pressure on the providers that stay. Amy is very willing to spend the necessary time needed to discuss your condition(s) and will listen to what you have to say. I am not the run of the mill patient and so is my wife. We both have diseases that are rare and I was impressed with her willingness to learn.

I love Amy!! I was having issues that no one even bother to look into and she found the problem first time around. Very happy with her and the staff. She is so sweet as a person, makes you feel very comfortable.

I can't get my prescriptions filled correctly or on time. They will randomly be closed without notification. I have insomnia. And most of the time. When I need a refill. They won't respond to the pharmacy. That makes for a very long sleepless weekend for me. It's frustrating. When I do need a refill on my sleeping pills, they make me feel like I'm a druggie that needs her fix.

I have seen Amy maybe 5x since my doctor retired. It was very hard to find someone who could hold a candle to the MD I saw for some time. I asked around to find someone qualified to do a good job. Right away I got her name 5x. A friend who is a St. Joseph employee told me that she herself goes to Amy and finds Amy knowledgeable, accurate in her diagnosis, kind, and was an RN for 20yrs prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
