I had surgery on 1/9 to have an anal polyp and a hemorrhoid removed as was discussed in my consultation. Upon waking up from anesthesia and in recovery, and even asking my nurse I was not told how the procedure went or exactly what they did. I only found out from my mother who was waiting in the lobby once I was discharged that in fact 2 hemorrhoids were removed, and the 'polyp' was on one of them. I had my hemorrhoids removed this November. Dr Amy Hanna was very detail oriented person, explaining the procedure before and after the operation. After the fourth week, I didn’t need to take any pain medication. Great experience with Dr Amy.
