Dr Hammons very patient friendly and actually took the time to talk to me.
I went for a six month follow up. Dr. Hammons was professional and knowledgeable about my health history. She spent time listening and she answered questions I had. I highly recommend Dr. Hammons as a primary physician.
She allows my opinion to be heard. She listens and she treats me with respect. She is the very best doctor I have along with Dr Lam.

Amy Hammons is very inexperienced and incompetent! When I went in for my first initial visit, Amy Hammons immediately started telling me what my diagnoses were while she was looking at a computer screen apparently she was looking at someone else’s chart because nothing she was saying matched any of my diagnoses! I tried to stop her to let her know but she Never gave me a chance! I nearly fell getting out of there and never went back! Dr. Hammons is an excellent, thorough doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. My experience at Ochsner Slidell was great and I would recommend Dr Hammons to anyone in that area looking for a terrific family doctor
I had to wait a bit to see Dr. Hammons but the wait was worth it. She was very thorough and took the time to explain everything. I feel as though I'm in excellent hands at Ochsner Slidell.
