Dr Bruner was very knowledgeable, helpful and personable, but had very poor business practices. She does not deal with insurance companies, so you need to request a superbill which you submit to your insurance company which I did for my first visit after paying her in full. On the second visit I requested a superbill numerous times and did not get one which tied up the money I paid her for some time. Dr. Amy is fabulous! Very caring and knowledgeable doctor!
Last summer had the "free" Zoom consultation. Felt like I really connected with Dr. Bruner. I was so excited that she was interested in helping me with post menopause and hormone imbalance. Then I was COMPLETELY ghosted. I texted her (she said I could use her personal cell to contact her), sent emails to her email, sent messages through Klara. I was so disappointed. Dr. Bruner is truly one of the best providers I've encountered. I had tried two other providers in the Portland area about six months prior (plus tons of research and phone calls) and none had Dr. Bruner's level of knowledge and inclusive approach. I had ongoing health issues and was kind of running out of hope. Greatest doc ever! Really knows her stuff and is is incredibly patient and explains things well. Also an excellent listener and I never feel rushed. She has really helped me with my hormones and ladybits. Thank you Dr. Bruner!
