This use to be an excellent Bank when it was Amtrust. When we had a 7 Month CD with Amtrust we were able to add to the balance at anytime. This option was taken away under Flagstar. Also, when it was time to renew a CD, they pushed in opening a Checking account to get .010 more interest. However, we would have to open with $500 making the Interest over 13 months less. I believe the bank representative did not want to disclose this informationn to us. I calculate the difference in a matter of a minute. The representative coul... read more

I have never been so insulted in my life! I was profiled by the teller! I guess I look like a thief or check forger. When is it bank policy to call the person who wrote a check for a couple hundred dollars to ask if they actually wrote the check? Never in my 55 years. Our family has been banking here for over 50 years and this is how they treat me first thing in the morning. Absolutely disgusting!
