The absolute worst do not use ! They will destroy your home and not repair anything. American Home Shield sent this contractor to repair my dishwasher and refrigerator and 4 months later I'm still fighting to have the dishwasher and refrigerator repaired.
Pleeeease take a minute to read this review before enlisting Amtec Services, and grab some popcorn, 'cause this one's a doozy. My freezer was making a strange noise. That's it, just a noise, it was cooling fine. My warranty company sent Amtec. I already had the correct part needed to fix it, since the problem had been going on for quite some time. This company located in *********************** is a nightmare! Technician came out to repair my ice maker and not only did he not repair it he created a water leak by putting a pin in too tight on the water line valve and said I dont do water and left. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
Horrible. I was put with them through ********************. Tech arrived at my house for a leaking frig, tried to check some basic things and couldn't fix it. He ordered a bunch of parts and came back to install them, none of them fixed the issue. Frig is still leaking. Tech told us he couldn't fix it and didn't know what was wrong with it. The dispatcher(some lady who just barely speaks English) keeps telling ******************** that the service was completed and the issue was fixed. I was very pleased to get the service on the same day. I have 3 children and was ready to have a huge pile of dirty clothes over the weekend. I called Amtec to make an appointment and it turned out they fixed the washer within 3 hours after my call.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO HAVE AN ALTERCATION. THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN TO REPAIR MY WASHER AND WHEN THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED, HE DISRESPECTED MY FIANCE. THEY EMPLOY MAJORITY ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE EMPLOYEES AND THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU HIRE NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE THE AUDACITY TO RAISE THEIR VOICE AT A WOMAN AT HOME ALONE. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN A NICE WOMAN COMES TO ASK IF YOU NEED SOME WATER, HE FELT EMPOWERED TO RAISE HIS VOICE AND YELL AT A WOMAN IN HER HOME.... read more

Absolutely at no point did our tech threaten anybody in the house hold and left immediately when he was told to leave. When talking to Tom on the phone the home owner was quite aggressive, threatening to drive over to the office and 'deal with us' and stating that 'we are lucky he was not at home' when the tech was there. Tom attempted to ascertain exactly what the issue was only to be told that the tech refused a glass of water.
