I’m 84 years old and I have macular degeneration I came to this office because I was told they had glasses that would help me.I got a pair of the biopic glasses.I tried to wear them but couldn’t When I was leaving the lady at the front said several times if you need to bring them back, you have to do that within 14 days. We went in,my Dad and I to see about the bi optics.we tried them on and they had to order them.We dealt with 2 people when we were leaving the lady at the front desk said if we had any problems call and speak to Scott and we had to return them within 14 days we did We talked to Scott and took them in he talked to us and then told us we had to take classes that wasn’t mentioned before before we bought them so he went to talk to his boss and then we went in the front,hi looked at them and then took them back he made sure they ... read more

I had a 10/10 experience at Southeast Vision Rehab. After visiting two other neuro-optometrists to be evaluated for binocular vision dysfunction, I left being told I didn't have it and spent $400 a piece on prescription glasses that made me feel worse. I told Dr. Appel about the visual and neurological symptoms I've been having for years and he listened to me and validated me and after a bunch of testing, he discovered I have divergent insufficiency which is apparently close to 1% of BVD cases.
