I have been going to Ampahs for about 2 years now. Since then, I have gone natural and my hair is a lot healthier. I cant speak about every stylist in the shop but the woman that I go to, Shanika, does a great job. She does chemically treated hair, weaves, natural hair (press, curl, and flat iron), locks, etc. Oh, her services are affordable (nothing over-the-top) and Im usually am in/out within a matter of 1-1.5 hrs! :-)Now, the shop is an older shop so if youre looking for something top of the line then this is not the pla... read more

I used to go to Gina, the owner of Ampah for 3-4 years. She gives the BEST relaxers(no burning)hair cuts, great with up-dos - plus she is inexpensive. She cares about your hair, keeping it healthy. Be careful tho, she can be heavy-handed with the hair grease. I like bouncy hair and her Ghananaian grease weighs it down. The BiGGEST problem-expect to be there 5+ hours, even longer on Saturdays.
