Fun venue, coolest staff in Charlotte. Great shows
I flew from Alberta, CAN for the Apocalyptica show on May 17th 2016! I enjoyed every second. The venue was just my style, nice and intimate. The acoustics were great and the security team treated me so well and made me feel very welcome! I also appreciated that the busses were accessible after the show and that I had the opportunity to see my friends again. Great smaller venue. Security was great, line went quick to get in, bar was reasonably priced, bands were amazing! Only small complaint is I wish there had been more tables to sit at upstairs.
The security staff was very rude, asked a very basic question about getting me a chair that had a back instead of a bar stool and they acted like I was offering them the plague!!! The chairs with the back was less than 10 feet from us....
Underoath was absolutely amazing and so the venue. Besides the fact I had 3 negative run ins with 2 of the security guards. If you expect respectful and helpful security, I wouldn't recommend coming to this venue.
The "SECURITY" absolutely SUCKS here. Specifically the younger looking, skinny, pale, long greasy brown haired fellow. He should not be allowed to work there and is the reason why people are at danger in these places and why you hear stories in the paper that could be easily prevented. One of my girlfriends was being stalked and followed and he was nothing but rude, useless, and did nothing but make it worse. First time coming out last night to see Badfish and it was amazing!! Will definitely be back on the reg to see more shows!
Possibly my favorite live music venue I've ever been to. Saw the Offspring there last year when I was visting from Kentucky with some friends for Carolina Rebellion. The atmosphere was off the charts. Honestly if I had to shoot a movie and needed a live band scene, I would shoot it here from the middle of the 2nd level.
