Everything went well until I got home to show my hairstyle and was told I got scammed literally . Why would you charge $100 for cornrows ? And with no extensions, just my natural hair? Being new to Canada I didn’t know how pricing works, but even if you are expecting a negotiation you shouldn’t be exaggerating prices like that especially during holiday season!!
I had a mostly amazing experience. Cy did a lovely silk press and did great highlights on my hair however. My service came with a trim and I ended up with a bob… In the moment I didn’t notice until I looked at previous photos of my hair and realized how much length I had lost. Once I wet my hair to its natural state the cut was choppy and I couldn’t wear it out confidently. I had some split ends but I don’t think they were to the extent of what was cut.
I visited this salon for the first time today and had such a great experience! From the moment I walked in, Camille and Cy were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and culturally warm; it felt like I’d been coming here for years. They were attentive to my needs, listened carefully to what I wanted, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Camille worked a miracle on top of my head 😭❤️ I’ve been so scared of chopping off my hair, but she was super encouraging and made me feel so welcome. I love LOVE how my hair turned out, and loved the experience I had here 🥹❤️ 11/10 would recommend - clean, welcoming, and very friendly ❤️
