Loved the food amazing but our waitress was rude and just a terrible waitress-_-

I've been hearing for years how great this restaurant is, and finally got to experience it last night. I went in with a group of 13 people. The service was perfect, the food was over-the-top delicious. I had the gnochi with bolognese but tried several other people's food (steak, lasagna, penne with blue cheese cream sauce) and it was all incredible. I had a chocolate martini for dessert and it came with a truffle and that was truly the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Can't wait to go back!

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at Amore as well as many other family celebrations. Wonderful atmosphere, food, and hospitality. We love the warm Italian feeling as soon as we walk in. You're the best in town Dick and Lisa Dorato.
Very friendly and flavorful. We went on the recommendation of a server at another restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids when he found out that we were on vacation. GPS got us there and we were not disappointed! I'm gluten free and they had a great variety of choices for me. I ordered the Salciccia Della Case (housemad sausage patties with tomato sauce - delicious! They even offered me gluten free bread that was so good my husband had more of it than his gluten filled bread! I recommend it!
OH MY GOODNESS! Ok, so now I know why everyone has raved about this place for years! I finally went last night and we had the sampler plate and had 12 different choices. Everything was homemade and amazing! We loved the piano music in the background too. The owner was so nice too and spent time with us. This is a place that I will be back again and again. Thank you Amore!! :)
