This place is special. The setup and ambiance in this place on a random Thursday morning is vibrant, quaint, yet sophisticated and aesthetic. I want to hang out here. The food hits nicely. Amor A Mi has the best chilaquiles I’ve had in LA—full of flavor, satisfying, and worth coming back for. The cute café atmosphere takes me right back to Mexico City and makes breakfast here feel like a little escape.
Red chilaquilles were delicious. Green chilaquilles were okay. Bit dry. Not enough sauce. Taco de chicharon was good. Coffee tasted okay. Service was so slow even though the restaurant was about 1/4 full. Took 15 mins for the waiter to bring the coffee and tea. The food took longer. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was nice. Prices higher than a normal Mexican restaurant. Not sure if I'd come back.
