If you need to be seen on short notice, I highly recommend Ammons. With so many Dental clinics providing a “Turn and Burn” experience, visiting here was such a breath of fresh air. Located inside the Ashley Building along with plenty of free parking, it’s quite the hidden gem for a dentist downtown. Ammons entrance is around to the left of the resident entrance facing Lockwood Dr. I was running 10 minutes late for my appointment, and when I arrived I was treated as if I had shown up right on time. I have very bad dental anxiety and from the telephone call from Jesus about my emergency appt to me arriving I was comforted. The receptionist was very nice and comforting. The xray woman was so nice she said she was helping out from the Sommerville office. The doctor was extremely comforting she even left me have her dog lay with me in the chair as I petted him.
I had a great experience at this dental office in downtown Charleston. The entire staff was kind, welcoming, and professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Having a major dental procedure can definitely be nerve-racking, but I truly appreciate the care, patience, and attention everyone showed me. I’m so grateful for the beautiful smile I have now! Thank you to Dr. Sitton, Dr. Ammon, Jesus, and the entire team at Ammon Dental ... read more
I set an emergency appointment here for my son worried that he had an abscess on his gum. Our experience from the time we walked in to the time we left was very pleasant! The atmosphere here is so warm & cozy! The staff were all very welcoming & friendly. My son even had an excuse for missing school waiting for us at the front desk without me having to ask. I’d recommend Ammon’s to anyone with any dental needs!
