Dr. Q is not a good doctor. He does not know the basics behind the drugs he prescribes. I have been on high dose metformin for a number of years, gradually losing energy to the point of hospitalization recently. While there it was determined I was very low in vitamin B-12 and iron even though my diet and supplementation would suggest otherwise I was anemic. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ammar. He is incredibly kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about his patients. Every time I reach out with a question or concern, he responds promptly and takes the time to listen and provide thoughtful guidance. This doctor is not fit to assess children. Do not bring your child here. “Why don’t you care?” Or “why are you doing this to your mother?” Is how he will approach a 12 year old who is struggling to understand the vast complexities about diabetes. This doctor provides little to no information while demeaning your child and not letting them speak for themselves.
