As a new patient you have concerns. I most say I was very pleased with Dr Bayrakdar and his wonderful staff. From the time I arrived until the time I left the atmosphere was very calming.
Care and compassion
This dr screwed me MAJORLY. I was his patient for 15 years and because my insurance would not cover the insulin pump, he sent me a letter telling me he could no longer do anything for me and to find someone else. He only gave me one month of prescription, and it took me 3 months to get into another dr. Who does this to a 65 year old diabetic woman relying on her medication to keep my diabetes in check. I feel wronged and hope no one else has to go through this with him. Shame on you.
Dr. Bayrakdar is great BUT the administrative staff here at this Evergreen Park facility is LOUSY to say the least. The nurses are nice too. Administrative staff needs to STEP UP... front desk NEVER answer calls, it's like all calls are sent to voicemail and staff NEVER return any of the calls. The Admin. MANAGER needs to do something... Unprofessionalism at it's best!
Did correct a misdiagnosis at another "esteemed" hospital. He did adjust medications to assist me. He has controlled my Type 2. However, in recent visits his staff and himself have been disrespectful and rather sarcastic during the visits.
