I was charged $3,008 at move-out for a countertop and backsplash replacement, even though I had reported a spontaneous crack in the same spot twice, once in 2023 and again in 2024, during my 2.5 year lease at AMLI Fountain Place. In 2024, they replaced the countertop, but the new installation was poorly done. The sink was off-center, the cutout was skewed, and a hairline fracture reappeared in the exact same spot.
