He's a great dentist, and I speak from long experience with other excellent dentists and not-so-excellent ones. He's detail oriented, goes over the x-rays to explain why a procedure should be done, and treats me with warmth and respect. My former dentist, in NY, also excellent, was the official NY Rangers' dentist, so I had high standards when I moved to Amherst and needed a dentist. I specifically request Dr. I when I go. Horrendous experience for my adult son with autism, who was brought to Dr. Ivancev by his group home manager for a routine cleaning. My son had previously been in the care of a different dentist closer to our home, where he was last seen six months ago. No problems detected by the previous dentist. Conversely, Dr. Ivancev found multiple problems he wanted to treat, including the restoration of three fillings, two new fillings, and an extraction/implant! RecommendedThe staff here is wonderful! My dentist is over an hour away and I had a dental emergency and Dr. Castenson got me in the next day and I wasn’t even an established patient yet. He was so kind and professional and you can tell the staff truly care about their patients. I have since switched my dentist to Amity St. Dental and I’m so happy with my decision.
