I had a suspected tick bite and I have called this immediate care center since I have my primary doctor with Amita Health. They asked me to come and then refused to see me, allegedly because they are not authorized to serve my insurance despite the fact that it says AMITA. The lady told me some nonsense and suggested that I pay out of pocket. After talking to her, I was sure that I do not want to be treated there despite my pain. Beware.
Caution: Don't be fooled by the name -- this is NOT an urgent care facility. Our insurance covers urgent care visits, and we went to this facility multiple times thinking we were covered. Each time the facility happily took our insurance card without issue. We were shocked to find out months later that the facility does not in fact take our insurance at all, and we were billed at the full rate because AMITA refuses to bill as an "urgent care" visit.
