I went to a medical office in Lake Zurich (AMITA Health Medical Group Family Medicine Lake Zurich) to see Dr. Bonczak for my annual prevention visit. I got a bill of $230 for my lipid panel lab test. I was surprised for the bill then called my insurance company as my prevention visit should be covered 100%. I got to know they received the claim with codes not for prevention, but for disease diagnosis. I made many calls to the doctor's office. Misdiagnosed called due to worsening condition after 3 days, was told to come back in. Waited 2.5 hours, never saw a Dr so left. Front desk no help told it would be another 15-20 minutes after waiting 1 hr & 20 minutes. Then put in exam room. Waited in exam room 45 minutes, no one around no nurses, doctors, etc. Finally walked out. Won't ever come back!
Love Dr. Segal! Amy and staff are wonderful, too! Olga, Darlene, Patti ...... I have not encountered a single person that I haven't enjoyed interacting with.
Amy is the best! Super friendly, kind, and makes you feel like family. Little to no wait time and very thorough doctors. Everyone in this office is great!
All of the staff were caring and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. They explain everything and did a follow up call the next day.
