Hospice care is to enable your loved ones to be comfortable at the end of life. If that is what you are looking for never use this company. I actually switched to St. Thomas from another Hospice care company and I've never been so sorry. My mother was at the end of life on 12/23. I called Amita St. Thomas and they said there was only one nurse on call. It took her almost two hours to get to my Mom and in the interim I dealt with their on call person in the office, Dave. He was rude, arrogant and uncaring about my situation. ... read more
