Emory in Atlanta has run me through the ringer, I have given them several chances to obtain my medical records and images. Drove from Mobile to Atlanta thinking they had ample time to obtain my records, still nothing, such a wasted time and waste of money. I called Mayo, gave them where they could obtain my latest scans and in 2 days Gloria called me back with an appointment. Doctor Mercheas team is fantastic and very professional. I went to Dr. Merchea after receiving my first medical opinion for a procedure to remove a mass from my colon. I was a patient of Douglas Anderson MD Cancer Center. I completed my medical assessment. The colon rectum surgeon informed me I needed to lose 40 lb before the surgery and referred me to baptist hospital to get a gastric sleeve surgery which would have took about 6 months to complete then he would perform the colonoscopy surgery to remove the mass.
