I contacted Amir reguarding a Turkish carpet I purchased 38 years ago, on an excursion from a Greek cruise. He was very knowledgeable about the different regions in Turkey where rug making is done. He gave me a lot of useful information specific to my carpet, including about the materials it is made of. Thank you so much Amir!

I had a rug that was over 100 years old. My grandfather purchased it between 1908 and 1912. When I was a child my brother and I ran our toy trucks and cranes and automobiles on this rug in the fifties. They were all metal toys in those days and the continuous rubbing of those toys on the rug ended up damaging it substantially.
