I will be forever grateful to Dr. Ettekal. I came to him at a crisis in my life: the suicide of a close family member, I had wrecked my business, my family didn't know what to do. I had seen other psychiatrists and psychologists and was not optimistic that he could help me. Dr. Ettekal focused on what I was really feeling and where those feelings were coming from and didn't let me just ramble on. I hate to disparage someone just on phone protocol, but I called him five times and never got a response. Hard to comprehend on he comes across as caring when he can't even have an assistant return a call.
One of the best psychiatrists in LA. He is knowledgeable, caring, really knows his medications and is excellent therapist. I have recommended him to family and friends and everyone has wonderful things to say. Highly recommend him!!
