Dr. Amir Cohen has been my glaucoma/cataract doctor for a few years now. He removed a very large thick cataract in my one eye with perfect results. He also treated my glaucoma in that eye and it remains quite stable. Recently, he has been treating me for dry eye, as well as performing tests to ensure that my eyes remain healthy. I was referred to Dr. Amir Cohen by my ophthalmologist for cataract surgery. Dr. Cohen, his staff including surgical assistant and receptionist were extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my questions and concerns. Dr. Cohen clearly and patiently explained my treatment options. I felt at ease pre-surgery and throughout my post-op visits throughout my recovery as a result of Dr. Cohen’s compassionate care.
Dr. Cohen helped my father tremendously with his glaucoma. My father had been struggling with glaucoma for a number of years, and was concerned about his declining visual acuity. Dr Cohen patiently reviewed my father’s case, made a number of meaningful recommendations and checked in to follow up on his care. He is truly a caring, concerned clinician and I would recommend him to friends and family without hesitation.
Dr Cohen and his staff are professional knowledgeable and pleasant. My husband and I both have had successful surgery with Dr Cohen I highly recommend this practice for any of your glaucoma or cataract needs. I honestly could not imagine putting our eyes in the hands of anyone else!
If I could add more stars I would. My husband is extremely happy with his experience with Dr Cohen and staff. Both procedures went exceptionally well and his follow up visits are always a great experience. The staff is very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Dr Cohen for both cataract and glaucoma procedures.
