Amidon Tree Service dropped a tree on our house. I am fully aware that accidents happen, but I can not stress enough that this was 100% preventable. He deliberately decided to cut the leaning tree at the base when we had already confirmed the plan to climb and section it. The tree ended up through my roof and ceiling while we were inside the home with our pets. As the realtor who helped the Escobedo family purchase their home, I have always stressed the absolute importance of using insured contractors, which is why my clients chose Amidon Tree Service based on their claims. The owner of Amidon Tree Service should be ashamed of himself. He was hired to cut a tree, discussed the plan then decided to change it without the owners of the home being consulted. This resulted in the tree falling on the house, causing devastating damage to the home and anguish for the owners who were inside the house with their pets!
