THE GREATEST on this coast – The best thin crust pizza this coast has to offer. The taste and consistency are stupendus. THE SALADS along side are a healthy portion too.. a great place to eat.
Getting Close to the NY Pizza! Great – I loved this place and pizza was great! Service was a bit light --but really didnt need much - to eat a pizza?! - I had the eggplant pizza an thought it was great and friends i was with had others, and tasting theirs was good too! - Eggplant sandwich was almost like mama makes! ha -- the only thing i thought was the price of a salad - was way too high... i think the ceasar salad was like 7.50 --for a small side salad too much!- but having the pizza here in sf is a lot cheaper than havin... read more
Mediocre and Overpriced – Normally, I would say that fire oven pizza is the best type of pizza out there. Amici's is not that type of pizza. It's small, overpriced, and the crust is dry and bland. The search for good pizza in California continues.
Ok pizza. – To be honest, I didn't think the pizza from Amici's was too impressive. This is probably one of the more expensive pizzas I have bought, and to be frank I'd have frozen taste equal or if not better. The staff is very helpful though. It might also be because I came on a slow night, they really took their time to help me select the right pizza. I ended up with the New Haven White Clam and Spicy Pepper Chicken. It's not that they were bad pizzas, it just didn't leave a very last impression which is what I was expect... read more
Great Pizza – Go with the thin-crust. It's a lower calorie option and has just as much flavor. Parking can be challenging but worth the stop
Terrible, Terrible service – I've been here five or six times because it's in the neighborhood. Perhaps I don't dress well enough or don't look cool enough or whatever, but the waitstaff is consistently from average to downright terrible. The management's even worse. Case in point - last night it took em' 45 minutes to bring me a side salad and bread sticks. I am sure the waitress simply forgot. The way the manager barked at me for trying to pay up front instead of paying the waitress. Would have loved to pay the waitress bu... read more
Better than fair... – Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, after reading all the great reviews the wife and expected something really special. It was good, we had the New York style with sausage and mushoom, the crust was nice and and crispy though a bit burnt on the edges. We dabbed off the copious amounts of grease before consuming. Overall not bad, I've had comparable pizza in other establishments.
good pastas – i dont go to amici`s much, i usually have them deliver the food . they deliver food on good time(much faster than most joints ) and also their pizzas are good . i really like their pastas more than their pizzas. Most people I know like this place.
Amici's great – I have dined at Amici's a few times now since returning to the Bay Area. The food is served relatively quick but what I like is the friendliness of the employees. I mean: why would I like a place that served good food but the waiters etc treated you poorly? I don't belong to the club where if they serve you bad food and treated you worst, you still tip them and smile on the way out! They remember what I like, they treat me very well and the four-cheese lasagna is very cheesey and tasty!! It's one of my favori... read more
