I broke a molar that had a filling installed years prior. Dr. Alan Both informed me that I had options. I selected the room canal and crown. I was scared to say the least. Dr. Booth performed the root canal the same day. It is now the next day and I am completely pain free. Amherst Family Dental is fabulous and I highly recommend them.
These guys squeezed me in for an emergency root canal. I had been in pain for days prior, and was losing sleep. I was able to establish care, get a checkup, and have a root canal + crown procedure all in the same day. It was basically two appointments in one. They are very conscious of pain and comfort levels. While there is no such thing as a fun root canal, they made mine as comfortable as possible. I could have fallen asleep in the chair a couple of times, even while they were drilling my roots.
