Please be better about the images used in promotion of Cinco de Mayo, many people of Mexican (or other Latinx) decent have said this is culturally insensitive. There are other ways to celebrate the holiday without resorting to tired stereotypes. It's not cute, it's ugly and thoughtless. As white allies we NEED to be better.

Ah Amherst. You hold yourself up as a beacon of liberalism but when called on appropriation you delete posts and let racism continue. Mexican Americans don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo with getting drunk and wearing sombreros. This is in the first chapter of "how not to appropriate" right next to Native American headdress. Own your mistake and corect it.
I find this Margarita Madness Event culturally insensitive and very offensive. I will not be bringing my business to this liquor store or any of it's sponsors.

Great organization, putting together great events for people to connect while still taking care of their community when possible.
