AMG is the best health care facility (hands down or hand up!) I have seen in lower-state South Carolina, and I would recommend anyone and/or their loved one's needing the level of care this facility provides (for us, we required care in a L-TAC facility for a very serious sacral wound along with rehab. Our elderly loved-one was immobile due to a very serious case of neuropathy and a dislocated shoulder, on top of the wound). Amazing staff and seamless admission process!!
Well at 1st, I thought this facility was awesome but the more I visited my cousin while she stayed there, I begun to realize that their services sucked. There were many times where my cousin didn't get food or water in a timely fashion. This facility also took FOREVER to release her to another facility (rehab) so she could become fully mobile again. Amg! Whew! Here’s the Good and Here’s the Bad! My mom was transferred to this facility with a trach tube and feeding tube after surviving cardiac arrest during dialysis. The pulmonary/respiratory team were amazing. Within 2-3 weeks her tracheostomy tube was removed, she was talking, and eating soft foods. FEEDING TUBE was never removed🤷🏾♀️Day shift Nurses, CNAS, as well as Day shift dietary staff were caring and friendly.
